DOROTA TARNOWSKA-URBANIK
Born in 1982 in Puck, Poland. In 2008, she defended her dissertation in the field of graphic design and drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań (now UAP), in 2007‐2008 she studied graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. From 2009 to 2013 she did her doctoral studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków at the Faculty of Graphic Arts. From 2013 to 2023 she has been an assistant professor at the Studio of Artistic Textile at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing of the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Fine Arts in Poznań; now head of the Studio. Co‐manager of Galeria Szewska 16, affiliated with the Faculty of Painting and Drawing at UAP.
LIDIA WOJCIESZEK
Born in 1984 in Poznań. A graduate of Furniture Design at the University of Fine Arts in Poznań, currently a lab technician at the Artistic Textile Studio at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing. She runs her own workshops "Macrama differently", privately a fan of artistic embroidery. She draws inspiration from creation and the cyclec of nature. The medium is also natural dyes, obtained from plants, which, depending on the season, come to life or get a new life.
