I create works mainly with Japanese banana thread. Especially I like this fibre because of the strength and subtle sparkle. This provides the possibility of three-dimensional expression.  I also challenge other materials, recently iron thread.  I am interested in making soft sculptures using these properties and textures of the materials. My methods are very simple, mainly stitching, coiling, and sometimes felting. I feel my source of creation is strongly related to the love of nature and living things.
